The FBC Team is amazing
My wife and I had tried to get a home for months through another lender. Their process was complicated, their communication lacked, and when Covid hit my wife and I were bumped out of our ability to get a home. That is when we found FBC. The team at FBC were kind, knowledgable, and super easy to work with. My wife and I were informed every step of the way. There were even times when they worked extra hours just to ensure that the home we fell in love with became ours. In less than a month, we found a home, closed on the home, and moved in to the home. The process was so smooth that it allowed us to sleep soundly at night knowing that we were in good hands. I cannot speak enough good about this company, Jeni, and the rest of the team. I highly recommend that you use these guys for your next home! You will never regret that decision.

Stressful but worth it to have my new home
It wasn’t until it was time to close that things became stressful from my prospective. I don’t feel buyers should be told they can close until everything on the end of the loan processor, loan officer, and title companies are 100% ready to close. I wasn’t notified until an hour before closing that I actually won’t be closing. It was very frustrating but at the same time I choose to see it as there are many hands involved and mistakes can be made. I definitely feel my loan processor and team did what needed to be done to get me closed. Didn’t happen like I thought it would but it did happen.
Jessica's Tip: Triple check with the loan officer prior to closing that you have the clear to close. If you don’t, there is a possibility you won’t close. Also, if you have to wire your closing cost money, check with your realtor and or with the loan officer to make sure it the money has been received prior to going to the closing.

Closing
The process by nature is a lot of back and forth, for the most part communication was great...the day before my closing there was an issue with the cash to close amount that I wasn't prepared for, it didn't get resolved until 9:30pm the night before closing. Jeni took care of it and I am thankful for her. Closing went smoothly.
Carrie's Tip: Be very organized and prepared for last minute changes. Review every document and ask questions!

Loan Officer Great. Loan Processor, not so great
Jenni was great to work with. Super professional and very timely in her communications with me. However, as soon as my loan was moved over to the loan processor is where my frustrations kicked in. Poor communication and very late in responding to emails. There was even an instance where they were calling the wrong person and speaking to them about my loan (clearly did not verify my identity when calling).
