Got it Done
FBC took a very frustrating situation and turned it into a great experience. There were many difficulties along the way, but what is important to me is how they are handled. In this regard, Gordon and Michael restored my faith in FBC and showed me that there are still companies and people in the world that believe in doing the right thing and in keeping your word. FBC got me a great rate (better than what others would even quote) , listened to my situation amd worked with me and, in the end, got my family into a beautiful new home! Gordon and Laura were a pleasure to work with! Gordon went over the different loan programs and advised us on the best one for our needs. Any documents needed for the underwriters were communicated to us in a timely manner by Laura. From initial loan application to clear to close, Gordon and Laura were responsive to emails and text messages whenever my husband and I had questions. We were kept up-to-date by emails that contained informative videos, as we moved along each step of the loan process. Being in real estate myself as an agent, I hear horror stories all the time about the mortgage process from clients and colleagues alike, so I was kind of nervous going in. However, I must say, Gordon and Laura made this process so easy and stress-free that I would recommend them and FBC Mortgage over and over again!
Aisha's Tip: Have all of your documents (W2s, tax returns, pay stubs, bank statements, etc.) ready when you begin the loan process. Keep them stored in a Google or Dropbox file so you can easily access them from any computer, smartphone or tablet. If your Loan Originator or Loan Processor reaches out to you for any other documents they need to move your application along, get it to them asap!

Gordon was very experienced with the loan process and made it very smooth. He resolved any road blocks and issues early on and held my hand through the entire process. If there was confusion (FIRST TIME BUYER) he explained it in a way that made sense. He was quick to respond. He is an expert at problem resolution. Closed on time!!!! I would recommend him to my closest family and friends.
Yelaina's Tip: Research the loan process with family and friends. Make sure you have a 2 year work history documented. Make sure you have no foreclosures for FHA Loans in the past 3 years. Have ALL Tax documents organized.
