Buying a home is an extremely major decision. From the very first conversation with Gordon, I knew we were in good hands. Gordon listened to everything said. He was not dismissive or judgmental, but instead offered to review our situation and see what could be done. Gordon came back with a game plan and a list of items for me to provide and/or resolve. At every step, Gordon was available and excited when we reported progress. I felt as if I were his only customer although I know that is not true. In fact, he responded to one of late night emails - which surprised me! Then, he introduced me to Laura Anderson - what a GEM! Both Laura and Gordon kept me very informed and made what could/should have been a stressful process totally stress free! They are extremely knowledge, responsive, pleasant to work with, detailed, patient and genuinely care about their customers. I hope this is my last home purchase, but if I will refer FBC - specifically Gordon and Laura to as many people as I can. I appreciate all that you have done for us! You are the BEST!

I had the process explained to me and was able to get the home of my dreams. I locked-in at a lower rate than the competition, but I still received great service and attention to my loan. Gordon and Laura are the best
Gordon is the hardest working loan officer I have ever met. He basically moved mountains to get us a loan when we had some extenuating circumstances. He was always available, responded promptly when we asked a question and was honest with us throughout the process. He worked hard to get us a loan that provided the best deal for us. Laura was thorough and very pleasant to talk with. It was great working with them and I next time I need a home loan, I am definitely calling him. Thanks Gordon and Laura.

Much easier than we expected
We were first time home buyers and had heard horror stories about applying for loans from family and friends, so we were prepared for the worst. Gordon quickly answered our plethora of questions during our home building process (around 7 months). We gathered our statements and documents and emailed/uploaded them and that was pretty much it. Gordon was straight forward with no surprises, just as he promised us. We finally met him in person a few days prior to closing and he was extremely friendly and easy going. Our only complaint is with the FBC website...it's could be improved so navigation is easier/more straight forward.

My belief is that , way to much confusion, at time of closing, Great that they made it happen with only a 3 hr delay, however a few spoons of pro-activeness would have resolved everything for a more pleasant experience. When you take off work, and set up movers and have timing issues on storage units, it pays to be on point.
