Difficult and Frustrating
The loan process was somewhat difficult and frustrating. It’s involved a lot of paperwork, but understandable. My personal experience was the number of requests back-to-back. When I thought everything was done, then another request would come. I had to keep going back and forth to the courthouse to obtain documents. Once the documents were provided as requested, then another request would be made for more documents that required another trip to the courthouse. I just did not understand why the requests could not be grouped together that eliminated the number of trips back and forth. The process was like the Keystone Cops scenario where it appeared someone did not know what they were doing. Christine Heath was NOT the problem.
Tony's Tip: Make fewer requests. If several documents are needed then ask for them at the same time instead of one-by-one.

I have used Christine for both of the homes I have purchased and she and her team are simply amazing. Quick to respond to questions, always available to answer questions via phone or give you updates. I often don't get out of work until after 7 and could still call Christine and get updates/answers to any questions I had. Just a top notch mortgage broker all around, would (and have) definitely recommend.

This was the easiest closing from start to finish. No hoops to jump through & everything Christine mentioned on day 1 was executed flawlessly. Hopefully, I will not have to do this again. I know that this is the age of the computer, but I think that there should be a considerable amount of personal contact, not just emailing buyer/seller. email is great for back up in black and white. but personal communication makes a world of difference.

Christine was very professional and knowledgable. There were no problems that were not simple and easily solved with her help. The main office was quick and also helpful with any questions. I can't say enough about all of your staff. Ii will recommend FBC to anyone that asks about a mortgage.

Responsive and Knowledgable
With this being our first home purchase, we were basically clueless of the process. Christine was beyond patient with answering our numerous questions and was extremely responsive with updated GFEs and pretty much anything. She was accessible day, night and weekends and always responded within 24hrs - normally within a couple of hours. She was always nice and understanding. We did shop her quotes and she was always able to beat other competitors. She was great and all we kept saying was "we have a really good lender" There were some hiccups in the end. There were some clerical errors on the closing worksheets including misspelling of a second name on the deed. I reached out to Christine to see how to fix this but unfortunately never heard back. That was the only negative part of our entire experience. Overall, using Christine as a loan officer was an excellent decision for us and the experience was mostly positive.

Without question the best thing you can do for your family during the stressful time of purchasing a new home is to select the right combination of Realtor and Loan Officer/Lender. FBC Mortgage and more specifically Christine Heath is my recommendation without further discussion. Very responsive, prompt, informative and the perfect mix of professionalism without coming off as stiff. Proper communication skills should be the cornerstone of any long term successful business and Christine / FBC Mortgage has it. Our loan processor Jackie Rosado, though we only had communications with her toward the end of the process upheld the same standard of communication as we had come to expect. Within a day of our loan coming to her we had a list of items she would be performing for us as well as information we would need to supply with estimate time lines for each.

Best Loan Officer Ever
Now I've only had a few loan officer's over the years but by far, Christine is the most responsive and proactive loan officer that I have come across. I never had one instance where I couldn't get an answer and when I had the normal purchaser worries, Christine made sure I had nothing to worry about and I closed quickly and easily.
Kimberly's Tip: Make sure you have all your paperwork and documents ready. That made everything go much smother than it could have.
