I started out with another lender and changed to FBC-Chera because the other lender would not work with my student loan debt. Chera was able to find a program for me that helps with people that have student loan debt. She was very knowledgable and was determined to make it work for me. She works hard for you! Emily also was very easy to talk to and would text or email anytime she needed something. I highly recommend FBC- Chera Team!!

One of the best things about FBC is that they do manual underwriting! If you have plenty of tradelines and no credit, Chera's team will get it going for you (granted the tradelines are in good standing).

Our First Home!
We submitted our application to FBC Mortgage on 11/27/17 and signed our CLOSING papers today (12/22/17). In less than a month, Chera and her awesome team (and our wonderful Real Estate Agent, Lisa R.) was able to get us through all of the steps of buying our very first home. They all were extremely responsive to my requests, concernsn and questions and they were always available when i needed them - even if it was on a weekend, holiday, or late evening. I highly recommend this wonderful team!

We started out by deciding we wanted to kick the idea around of purchasing a new home for our family. After a few months of tossing the idea around we decided to "go for it" Knowing it was going to be a long drawn out process and understanding credit issues could be a potential reason to be disappointed we ventured on. Our realtor- put us in contact with Chera McCall-Johnson...after a 15 minute discussion on the telephone and a few things that we put out on the table from the get go she told us....I can get this done. After we talked about it at home we decided to give Chera and her team the opportunity to make our dreams a reality. Chera and her team talked the project head on. Going back and forth and asking for documents, emails, texts, phone calls....everything you could imagine they achieved everything they set out to for us......from the initial first phone conversation. I texted Emily, Cherea, Amy throughout the entire process and they answered regardless of time,questions, concerns, anything. Even the silly things we asked......they answered.
