Great experience through the whole process

Someone dropped the ball
This should have been a seamless refinance. If the issues from underwriting had been addressed in the first 45 days lock, I wouldn't be writing a poor review. And, instead of making sure my lock was extended, it got away from them and I lost the rate I was going for in the first place. I believe the whole process was handled poorly; in addition, and this has yet to be determined by the fraud investigator, but during the time that Home Loans was processing my refi my credit card information was compromised and used to get a card and a pin number. It has not fully been determined that it was someone from this office, but no one else had all of my personal information and the capability in the time that the activity happened.
Carolyn's Tip: Don't pursue lenders from the internet; I have always used a broker I was familiar with; it just happened as I was accessing my internet information, I checked the rates and Home Loans showed the one I had been waiting for.

Loan was handled very quick except appraisal which took an extra couple of weeks and had to be corrected. Other wise I was very impressed with efficiency of the process.

Anthony was great to work with. He was quick to take preliminary information and to assess my credit rating. He understood exactly the type of deal I was looking for and helped me get the low rate I wanted. The company utilizes a secure website for uploading documents, which gives a person peace of mind. I will say I have never been asked for as much documentation for any refi I have done in the past. But perhaps that's the price one pays for the nice deal I was able to get.

I'm not the type of person to write reviews, however after dealing with Anthony from Home Loan Today I felt it was necessary to share my insight and experience.Recently I refinanced my mortgage loan with Home Loans Today. Loan officer,Anthony Edwards, was an experienced and knowledgeable professional addressing my questions/concerns in a timely manner. He and loan processor (Lynne Hoffman) worked efficiently and my loan was closed in about 3 weeks. The interest rate I got from Anthony was one of the lowest I could find and the fees were very reasonable, lower than most of the other lenders. Also the closing of my loan was very smooth and quick due to excellent services provided by fbchomeloans team. I would like to recommend them to everyone who is interested in applying for or refinancing mortgage.

Fabulous service - couldn't be better!
My transaction was not easy : (1) it was my first house purchase, (2) the part of the fund came from overseas; (3) no real estate agent on both Seller and Buyer sides. But Anthony pulled it off, so wonderfully, without any hiccups on his side. He was so professional, responsive, attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with, I don't think I could have met a better lender agent than Anthony. We just refinanced our home through Home Loans Today and the experience was incredible. We began the process on a Saturday and were contacted Monday morning. Our loan officer, Anthony, was exceptional! He kept in contact with us throughout the entire process, and responded quickly (usually within about 20 minutes) when we did reach out to him. He was informative about the loan and helpful with all of our questions or requests. Overall, the process was surprisingly painless and we are very happy that we chose Home Loans Today.
