I talked to several banks local and national when I started looking for new house. Everyone I talked with denied our pre-approval due to some stupid reasons. Then, one day I was looking through a magazine that I got from Indian grocery store. Fortunately, I found Ms. Avni's contact details and gave her a call. We discussed my current life scenario and plans of buying a new house. Instead of directly denying the situation, she helped me find a right way to how should I pursue this process. Today, on 12/08/16 we closed my new home and I am so glad I chose Ms. Avni and FBC mortgage for as my lender. They have helped me in every way possible in getting this new home. Easy Refi
I worked with Avni Patel for my refinance. She was very professional, thorough and straight forward with the whole loan process and paper work. I asked her a lot of questions and she was always happy to answer the question. Her team is also very good to work with. The only thing that FBC can improve is communication. There was about a week or so where I didn't hear anything back but when I reached out to Avni, she was glad to find out the status for me. All in all, it was easy refinance.

Easy Refi
I worked with Avni for my refinance. She is highly knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She explained me whenever I had queries about charges on the worksheets. Avni communicated very well and was very honest from beginning. I also worked with Laura A as part of my closing and she was easy to work with. Only thing FBC can improve on is regular status updates while the underwriter is working on your loan would be great help to consumers. There was a period of about 10 days where there were no updates. I wasn't too worried but its good to know where you stand with your loan. I used to reach out to Avni and she would find out for me so it worked very well. All in all, it was easy refinance.
Keyur's Tip: Keep all the paper work ready, as a lot of it is needed. And be proactive and communicate regularly with your broker
